so complex! they feel like memories

For reference, Tompkins is one of the few full sized perfume bottles I own so I was curious to try the rest of these place-themed scents, especially since these are all cities I know.
I've been wearing one per day for the past two weeks and wow. Kismet Olfactive's dry down does not disappoint. The scents are so complex.. nuanced, layered, and subtle, and they feel like a memory of each of the cities without smelling like a room spray or a candle.
Standouts to me are how LA High captures the feeling of faint desert chaparral flowers blowing in on the breeze, and the cigarette note in Macba. Lots of perfumes have a tobacco note but this straight up has a cigarette smoke smell that wafts in on the edge of your awareness. Crazy!
Highly recommend this sample set, I'm obsessed.

Obsessed! quality/diversity/theme and the dry down!!!!!!! OMG

Obsessed! The quality is amazing and so is the diversity and the theme. 3/6 will be full bottle purchases (Macba Barcelona, South Bank London, and Republique Paris) I can still appreciate the craftsmanship of other 3. However, for me, they are best in the dry down which can take a bit to get to. Can’t wait to revisit these in other seasons and see if that changes things. Beautiful compilation!

The World Smells Good!

I am happy to have the sample set of these fragrances to try. So far, the European scents are favored over the American scents. I think my favorite so far is the "Republique" Paris scent. I am still traveling and will continue to try and retry them. Thanks for offering them.

Love these samplers and LOVE Kismet Olfactive!

I have fallen in love with this brand and the nuanced and layered scents that capture the imagination and emotional landscape of my life and the places I've lived. The samplers make it easy to experiment with scent profiles I might otherwise overlook, and to play with new combinations that can suit any weather, mood, or locale. South Bank, LA, and Embarcadero were especially notable (in the classic scents I'm a Nostalgia and Wedding in Oaxaca fan). Would love to see this series expand out to other cities as well (lookin at you, New Orleans!!)
